Demo Mechanics: Divisor Gap Ribbons Plinko

The demo uses the game Divisor Gap Ribbons Plinko. Twelve independent fair left/right steps define positions x_0=0 through x_12. At each pair of rows i and 12-i for i 1..5, the function tau(abs(x_i)+1) and tau(abs(x_(12-i))+1) are compared; their summed absolute differences are scored. The exact minimum statistic over all 4096 paths is subtracted to obtain the nonnegative reward score. The subtracted minimum is 0.

Score Function: Add the five absolute differences between divisor counts at paired positions (rows 1 and 11, 2 and 10, 3 and 9, 4 and 8, 5 and 7). Count the positive divisors of the absolute position plus one in each case; the minimum path total is zero.

Controls and Modes: Selectable stakes are 10, 20, 50, or 100 play coins (default 20). Settings, restoration, and starting another round are locked while a round is active. Users choose linear, squared, or cubed reward weight before starting the round.

Payout and Settlement: One captured stake per round. At settlement, floor(stake × gross multiplier + stored fractional carry) is credited; the remainder persists. Zero-return rounds leave fractional carry unchanged. No intermediate collection is available.

Wallet and Persistence

The initial balance is 1000 virtual coins. Restoration is manual and idle-only, setting the balance to exactly 1000 when below 10. Fractional carry persists in browser localStorage across settlement, refill, and reload; refill does not clear it. Settled balance persists locally, including zero.

If the page is reloaded during an unfinished round, the captured stake remains deducted. The round ends without refund, payout, continuation, or resume. Controls after reload reset to default stake 20 and first preset. Stake, mode selectors, refill, and a second round remain locked until settlement.

Mathematical Evidence

Simulation measurements are supporting sample observations, not the mathematical payout law. Exact expected values are distinct from measured estimates.

Different modes have different distributions; expected RTP is not a promised session result.

Storage and Privacy

Virtual-coin balance and fractional payout carry are stored in browser localStorage. The page requests Google Fonts stylesheets and font files and Statinside44 counter resources.
